Panos Argiras is an accomplished executive specializing in cell and gene therapy manufacturing and operations, with a proven history of steering complex programs from early pre-clinical stages through to commercialization. As a versatile leader experienced in cross-functional collaboration, Mr. Argiras manages end-to-end CMC activities, optimizes supply chains, and mitigates risks across clinical development and commercial launch. His expertise ensures robust CMC strategies, seamless tech transfers, and the highest standards of global regulatory compliance to deliver life-changing treatments to patients.

Panos is a former Senior Director, CMC Manufacturing, CRISPR-based Gene Therapy for Excision BioTherapeutics where he developed and implemented manufacturing strategies, established quality standards and ensured regulatory compliance. He has previous experience as Senior Director, CMC Manufacturing, Lentiviral Cell Therapy at AVROBIO and Director, CMC Manufacturing, AAV Gene Therapy at Solid Biosciences. He also held multiple positions of increasing responsibility at Shire.

Panos received his MBA in Organizational Leadership from Franklin Pierce University and holds a BS in Microbiology from the University of New Hampshire.
