About Us
Born at the intersection of patient care and genetic medicine
About Corrixr
Our Mission
Corrixr Therapeutics was created through pioneering gene editing and genetic medicine research at the ChristianaCare Gene Editing Institute (GEI), one of the nation’s leading centers advancing translational genetic medicine.
Early collaboration between GEI scientists and oncologists with the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute at ChristianaCare helped shape Corrixr’s therapeutic direction – pursuing a targeted genetic therapy approach for cancer. As a result, GEI is uniquely positioned at the intersection of scientific innovation and frontline cancer care.
Unlike many biotechnology companies, Corrixr emerged directly from this convergence of patient care, translational medicine, and cutting-edge genetic medicine – a foundation that continues to shape the company’s mission and therapeutic strategy.
Today, the company is focused on advancing CXR101, a targeted genetic therapy for lung, head & neck, and esophageal squamous cell cancers.
Corrixr is a genetic medicine company developing breakthrough therapies that destroy squamous cell cancers. We are driven by a commitment to improving outcomes while reducing the burden many patients experience with conventional therapies.
